Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) entered into European law following 18th December 2006 under (EC) No 1907/2006.
Manufacturing organisations such as NU-COAT have a responsibility to manage the risks that chemicals pose to health and the environment, with REACH encompassing most commonly used substances in everyday life.
As with all responsible manufacturers, we work in close collaboration with our supply partner’s in maintaining and achieving current and future REACH compliance.
If a substance of very high concern (SVHC) in accordance to REACH legislation (as per 16th January 2020 revision) is or becomes present above a concentration of 0.1% (w/w) within any NU-COAT material, we will inform the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and also any customers who have or intend to use the product concerned.

Where possible, we will continually work with our supply partners to replace any chemical listed as being a substance of very high concern whilst maintaining the performance of our products.
