Utilising more than 35 years of diverse knowledge and all round coating expertise, NU-COAT’s founders and widely experienced staff, set out to provide products and services to fulfil the fast changing, often challenging, demands of its customers and markets.
To achieve this, as recently as 2018, NU-COAT invested heavily in the latest coating and converting technology, housed within a clean room environment, at its new manufacturing plant based in Wales.
Here with our wide-ranging laboratory capabilities, we carry out testing in accordance with UK, European or globally recognised Industry Test Methods to qualify our products are fully compliant and achieve the approved Standards.
But we don’t stop there, at NU-COAT not only are our products technically proven to meet regulations, we also aim to ensure our products are wholly fit for purpose and easy to work with for our customers too.
With this in mind, ongoing investments in our laboratory facilities means that in-house we ourselves operate commonly used, print, cut and laminating equipment of different types, enabling us to simulate the work of our customers so we can verify our products’ performance from start to finish.
Of course, to help reach and retain consistently high quality products NU-COAT has established and continues to maintain, close ongoing working relationships with world-renowned raw material suppliers to further enhance our offering and develop and create bespoke and often-innovative new products for diverse markets and applications.
Historically our roots are in the graphics industry, where we have built a strong reputation on long-term partnerships with customers, working consultatively with them on every detail, to maximise performance and deliver value for money for them and their clients.
Going forward, NU-COAT will continue to work with customers in this way, whilst at the same time offering wider industries our broad all-round capabilities to satisfy an even more diverse range of enquiries, not just from the graphics market.
At NU-COAT for instance, we have the capability to produce high bond technical tapes or labelling solutions with a wide variety of substrates, adhesive types and liners at our disposal.
